Its a new week, and soon it’ll be a new year. I’ve been thinking about making a recap post of this year, because lets be honest, it’s been pretty damn epic. I’m sure I’ll get around to it soon.
In the mean time, my schedule for this week goes as followed:
My back hurts. Its been hurting since September to various degrees. I think it was a mix of the Maui Half Marathon and a really crappy mattress, but last week it was at an all time discomfort, so I made some executive decisions.
1) Get a new mattress.

I cannot stress to you how nervous I was the next day. It started like the day before; we woke up, took showers, got dressed, headed down stairs and grabbed breakfast.
I also took a few minutes to research our running guest, Sarah Hall. It did not assuage my anxiety.
Today while waiting for the bus at 1:06pm, I got hit by a car. No worries, I’m all right.
By now I’m sure you know I live in Alaska. It is cold and icy and snowy in Alaska. There are some things you learn to expect when dealing with such climates.
As you may have read a few weeks ago (sorry for the late post!), I won a trip to Irvine, California to visit the ASICS America headquarters, meet some fancy people and design my very own pair of Gel-Nimbus 13′s. I had no idea what to expect but I can certainly say [Click here for the rest]
Some things I did get done this week: I made it to the gym three times this week. It wasn’t the 4 I was shooting for, but I can’t help it if I’m super important and busy* all the time. my cousin got me tea for my birthday, and I’ve had several cups of it [Click here for the rest]
My trip to California and ASICS Headquarters was possibly the most thrilling and exciting thing I’ve done all year; including going to Hawaii a couple of months ago. I can’t wait to get my post/s up about it… just waiting on some better pictures first.
